Where Is Togg Engine Manufactured?

The production site of the Togg engine started to come up again a little while before the mass production of the domestic vehicle. The domestic car Togg, which has been expected to be on the market for a long time and whose work has accelerated for a while, continues to arouse great repercussions in the foreign press as well as in the domestic press.

Togg engine information, which was first announced in 2020, had a great reaction during that period. While many citizens were excited with all national feelings that the domestic vehicle would be produced, some began to investigate how much of the vehicle announced as “domestic” was domestic and whether its engine was domestic.

In 2020, Togg’s CEO, Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş, gave important information about Togg’s future goals, features and other stages in the programs he attended, and mentioned where the curious Togg engine was brought from. Why Togg’s Engine Isn’t Native

Many industry representatives and other ordinary citizens wondered how the most important part of a vehicle introduced with the slogan “domestic automobile” was not domestic and why it was not produced by Turkey.

Announcing that Togg’s engine would be brought from Germany, CEO Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş was highly criticized after his statements and was the target of criticism arrows representing the company. Explaining the reason for this situation in a program he attended later, Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş used the following statements: “You accused me of buying an engine from Bosch. You can blame me, get angry or even swear at me, but don’t be unfair to all my friends who work here.

The engine issue is very important. 400 kg battery pack, one or two motors. Maybe even more on some models. We’re talking about a total here. Namely, electric motor, reducers and connections. They are a whole. Can it be done? Of course it can be done. But Bosch does it better than anyone else. We start with a few thousand. This will rise, but the beginning is in the thousands. There is no reason to produce this engine, it makes more sense to buy it in every way.”

How Native Is Togg?

Togg’s locality rate is highly curious by many. The domesticity rate of the remaining parts of the innate electric car, whose engine is brought from Germany and whose battery is brought from China, is among the topics that have been frequently researched recently.

Along with the official statements made in the past weeks, the locality rate of Togg, which was introduced with the slogan “domestic and born electric”, was announced to the public. When Will Togg Come Out?

The release date of Togg became even more curious with the video released by the company regarding the 2-year factory construction recently. In these days, when trial production will begin, many citizens continue to question how much time is left for the domestic car to go to traffic.
