Millions of citizens in Turkey are eagerly waiting for the Turkey’s Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG) vehicle. The countdown continues for TOGG, which is planned to be released at the end of 2022. Regarding the price, it was learned that the figures announced by the public in the past days do not reflect the truth. Thereupon, Turkey’s Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG) CEO Gürcan Karakaş stated that pricing will be determined at the end of 2022 and at the beginning of 2023.

Quick Charge in 30 Minutes

TOGG, which is expected to enter the market at a competitive price among the existing vehicles sold in Turkey, is already creating excitement. An important detail has emerged about the TOGG charge, which has very interesting features in terms of technology. The charging time will be as competitive as the price of the domestic car, and it will be charged 80 percent in 30 minutes. Since these statements came from TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş, those waiting for TOGG were even more excited.

TOGG CEO also answered the question of whether the charging infrastructure will support the capacity to use the electric vehicle. Karakaş said, “The issue of charging will cease to be fear,” and removed the worries of those waiting for TOGG. It is planned to establish a charging unit in every 25 square kilometers area where the population and traffic are dense. In this way, the country’s metropolitan cities will be built with electric charging stations.

On the Market at the End of 2022

Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) already excites millions of citizens with its very competitive features and price. While the supply and chip crisis continues in the automobile industry, CEO Gürcan Karakaş said, “Thanks to the reservations we made with the right planning, we will not be affected by this crisis.”

Karakaş pointed to the end of 2022 as the date of removing TOGG from the production line. TOGG, which will not be dependent on foreign sources in energy and will produce its own battery, will be on the roads in 2023. As the first electric SUV vehicle, it will attract great attention in the automotive industry.
