TOGG will be on the road in 2023

Stating that they started to take steps for TOGG in 2018, Gürcan Karakaş stated that they plan to start mass production in 2022. The last image of the TOGG facility, which is under construction in the Gemlik district of Bursa, was reflected on the screen during the interview. Stating that they established more than a factory, TOGG CEO emphasized that they built the cleanest and highest quality production facility in Europe.

TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş stated that the test studies have also started with the “Turkey’s Car” prototypes, whose assembly has been completed. Stating that the vehicle has high safety features, Karakaş said, “Now, the airbag is activated to prevent the heads of the driver and the passenger sitting next to him from colliding with each other during an accident. In the event of an accident, the airbag between them will be deployed, preventing the heads from colliding with each other.” said.
Expressing that they started to put the TOGG prototypes in crash tests, Karakaş noted that after these tests, they took the vehicles for examination. “We’re looking at which parts are affected and how.” In his statement, TOGG CEO said that we will start to see this magnificent vehicle on the roads in 2023.
